At STP the Engineering Managers and Supervisors spend about 30 minutes each week capturing and scoring observations against a pre-defined set of Tech Conscience, Leadership &Team Effectiveness, and Training Conscience attributes. These observations are shared with the engineers weekly and rolled up and results communicated to senior management and the station monthly. The attached file shows the monthly roll up of those observations for June of 2019 as an example.
